Create a Facebook app

1. Go to Facebook for Developer and login your Facebook Account.

2. Add a new app

3. Choose Website platform

4. Click “Skip and Create App ID”

5. Fill the form and hit “Create App ID” button

6. Submit the captcha and you will be redirected to App Dashboard. Cick setting.

7. Cick “Show” to get app secret

Remember! Save your AppID and Secret into text and don’t show to any stranger!

8. Click add platform

9. Choose Website

10. Put your site url and click “Save changes”

11. Go to App Review.

Install Instant Articles Plugin and Component

1. Login to your Joomla Adminstrator Dashboard.

2. Go to extensions installation page.

5. Hit “Upload & Install” button.

Setup Facebook Instant Article for Joomla Component

1. Login to your Joomla Adminstrator Dashboard.

Ex: http://yourdomain.com/administrator

Note! Make sure that you already have correct App ID, Secret.

2. Go to Facebook Instant Articles Component

3. Put your App ID, Secret to the form.

4. You’ll be redirected, follow these steps …

5. Choose Page that you want to publish instant article.

5. Installation successful.

Note! Hit “Renew Your Facebook Login” when you want to change App or Page.

Setup Facebook Instant Article for Joomla Plugin

1. Login to your Joomla Adminstrator Dashboard.

Ex: http://yourdomain.com/administrator

2. Go to Plugins Page

3. Enable “Facebook Instant Articles” plugin, and click into it.

4. Choose one or more categories and hit Save.
Note! Only the articles in picked categories are published as Facebook Instant Articles.

Publish Facebook Instant Articles

1. Go back to your Facebook Page.

2. Go to Tools of Facebook Instant Articles.

3. Put your domain and hit “Claim URL”.

Note! Make sure that you already setup Instant Article Plugin

4. Now back to Articles Page in Joomla Aministrator Dashboard

5. Publish your Instant Article.

There are two ways to publish your Instant Article:

Create new article and hit Save.
Edit an exist article and hit Save.

6. Back to Facebook Page. Go to Product Articles manager page.

7. Choose an Instant Articles to publish.

1. Install K2.

Get K2

2. Make sure that your already have Component and Plugin Instant Articles.

3. Install K2 – Instant Article Plugin. Choose file plg_k2_instant_articles.zip

4. Enable “Facebook Instant Articles” and “K2 – Facebook Instant Articles” .

5. Go “K2 – Facebook Instant Articles” plugin and choose categories that you want to publish as instant articles.

6. Create a new or edit exist K2 item, and see successful notice.

7. Back to Facebook Page. Go to Product Articles manager page.

8. Choose an Instant Articles to publish.
