How to add “Menu Item – Alias” in Joomla 1.5

Hi Joomla fans, in this Joomla tutorial we will be creating a new alias menu item.

To begin, please go to Joomla back-end via this url: “your_site/administrator” (e.g:http://vinaora.com/joomla/administrator/)

• Navigate to “Menus” >> “Main menu“
• This screen will show an overview of your current menu items. Let’s create a new item
• We want to create an alias
• Enter a title for the link
• You can also change menu the item will be created in, the parent item, the published settings, the access level and the link target
• Then select a menu item to create an alias of
• And [Save] the menu item
• We can see that the menu item has been created. Let’s go see it on the frontpage
