How to Add a Category in Joomla 1.5

Hi Joomla fans, in this Joomla tutorial we will be adding a new content category that we will be able to create new content under.

To begin, please go to Joomla back-end via this url: “your_site/administrator” (e.g:http://vinaora.com/joomla/administrator/)

• Navigate to “Content” -> “Category Manager“
• To create our new category click the [New] button in the toolbar.
• Fill in the form to create the category.
• Then you can enter a description for the category.
• To create our new category click the [Save] button in the toolbar.
• Our category is now created and published. It’s ready for us to create content under it.
